A Certified Financial Educator And Founder Of Money Basics. For Over 13 Years, I Have Applied My Passion For Helping Others Understand The Basics Of Money Management By Teaching The Fundamentals Of Budgeting, Saving, Giving, And Basic Financial Planning.

In 2011, I started Money Basics to teach others the principles of Godly stewardship over their finances. Since then, Money Basics has transformed the lives of hundreds of individuals, couples, groups, and members of organizations, helping them make smarter and informed money management decisions.

In my personal financial journey, I believe God allowed me to go THROUGH various situations and struggles so that I could help others see how they too can achieve financial freedom while going THROUGH everyday challenges. As a mother and widow, I faced financial struggles from business failure to job loss, and from my husband being diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer to losing him in 2016.

Despite these setbacks, I pressed forward to overcome and eliminate my credit card debt. Budgeting through these difficult times helped me break the poverty cycle and discover the secrets of financial freedom through GIVING, SAVING, and LIVING undeterred by life’s blows!

Working in auditing for a financial regulatory agency of the Federal Government has leveraged my ability and passion to help others. Alongside my career, I have spread financial literacy through various entities serving on the Stewardship team at Soul City Church and as a former Board Member of the Illinois Jump$tart Coalition in Chicago.

Through my mission to educate and transform the lives of others, I am committed to helping you set actionable goals to create and bring your financial vision to life. Whether you are an individual, couple, corporation, or non-profit, I offer one-on-one coaching and workshops teaching the Basics of Money Management, moving you from knowledge to ACTION!
